Welcome to the reason why Pixar movies look so amazing. They’ll spend two years writing programs to do a specific thing: making water look real in Finding Nemo, making hair behave properly in Brave ( or The Incredibles, or Monster’s Inc ). They’ll go on a several month trip to South America to make sure they get the look and feel of the vegetation right ( Up ). They will go to great lengths to research the tiniest part of their movie to make sure it all feels and looks right. That’s why they’re so amazing.
